Painting Workshop on Poros 2026 - September 26th to October 10th 2026!
The light in Greece has been praised for its influence as well as its unique and irresistible properties for ages.
Please join us for a most magical workshop on beautiful Poros Island Greece with two inspiring artists, Erin Dertner and Leslie Greenetz. Along with your host at Meraki Expeditions, they will guide you on this amazing adventure, painting the reflections of stone, sea and earth.
The colors and air will stimulate as you paint in your desirable medium. One day you might paint from the historical harbor, another from a mountaintop or from the Peloponnese looking back at sweet Poros.
You will also have ample time to relax and explore while learning about the Greek culture. It will be a most inspirational and memorable experience, one to be treasured, and we hope to see you and your palette!
A bit about Erin
Erin has traveled extensively throughout Europe and fell in love with Greece on her first visit in 1992. Erin is enlivened by the shadows, colors and stark contrasts with her philosophy being, “There is no better life than to study the world with a paintbrush in hand and a heart full of gratitude.”
A bit about Leslie
Leslie has also traveled extensively through Europe and loves to be in a place that captures the beautiful light, essence and colors on canvas or paper. Art is a natural part of her life and she relishes the time spent sitting, feeling the warm sun, hearing the local sounds and smelling the authentic dishes cooking. Recently she has been busy painting murals on local businesses, schools and homes in California.
Please arrive in Athens by noon on September 26th. Many like to fly in a day early, September 25th, to get a good rest before traveling to Poros. Meraki will assist you.
Also, please do not book your departing flight home until after noon. Your return will be by ferry to Piraeus harbour, extended transfer to hotel or airport can be arranged at an extra cost.
Remember, if you arrive on September 26th, you depart USA on September 25th. Fly out a day before you need to arrive in Europe.
